What we leave out of a cold-wallet journal on purpose
A useful journal is incomplete by design. Here are the fields we refuse to store during Connectivity Dev sessions.
Clients sometimes ask whether the journal should hold seed phrases “for convenience.” The answer is no. A record of movements is not a backup of keys. Mixing the two creates a single point of failure dressed as organisation.
We also leave out live portfolio valuations, screenshots of balances, and chat exports that contain unrelated personal messages. Amounts and labels are enough for most household audits.
If a field feels like something you would hate to see printed and left on a café table in Tsim Sha Tsui, it does not belong in the entry. Write the movement; protect the secret elsewhere.
