Cold-Wallet Ledger Setup

Who it is for

Private holders and small family offices who keep assets in cold storage and want a durable written trail of what entered the wallet, what left it, and why — especially when more than one laptop or desktop is used.

Result

By the end of the session you have a working journal structure: entry types for deposits and withdrawals, a transfer-note template, device labels, and a short checklist for the next movement of funds.

What is included

• Review of how you currently record movements (paper, spreadsheets, messages, or nothing)
• Agreement on fields that matter for your holdings (date, amount, source or destination label, reason, device used, confirmation reference)
• Configuration guidance for the Connectivity Dev desktop journal on your primary machine
• A one-page practice sheet you can print or keep beside the desk
• Two weeks of email follow-up for clarifying questions about the structure we set

What is excluded

• Custody of keys or funds
• Tax, legal, or investment advice
• Installation on devices we cannot access with you during the session
• Ongoing monitoring of your balances

Provider and process

A Connectivity Dev advisor runs the session from our Tsim Sha Tsui desk or by video. You remain in control of the wallet and the journal files at all times.

1. Brief questionnaire before the appointment (devices, typical movement frequency, current notes)
2. Live setup and walkthrough of first sample entries
3. Practice deposit and withdrawal notes using fictional amounts if you prefer not to expose real figures
4. Confirmation of how a second device will join later (or a pointer to Cross-Device Orientation)

Duration and delivery

Ninety minutes is the standard length. In-person sessions meet at Silvercord Tower 2 by appointment; remote sessions use a video link we send after booking.

Preparation

Have your primary computer available, the Microsoft Store listing ready if you have not installed the journal yet, and examples of recent movements you are willing to discuss in general terms (dates and categories are enough).

Constraints

We do not ask for seed phrases, private keys, or screenshots of live balances. If a movement involves a third party, we record only the labels you choose to keep.

Pricing

From HKD 1,280 for a standard setup. Extra time for complex multi-wallet households is quoted before the session.
